Authentication
SwipeCine offers multiple sign-in methods for your convenience:
- Email & Password: Standard account creation
- Sign in with Apple: Privacy-focused authentication via Apple
- Google Sign-In: Quick sign-in with your Google account
- Anonymous: Use the app without creating an account
We only receive the minimum information necessary for authentication. We never access your contacts, photos, or other personal data from these services.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase services with industry-standard encryption. User authentication data is managed through Firebase Authentication, and all data transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Third-Party Services
- TMDB (The Movie Database): We use the TMDB API for movie and TV show information, images, and trailers. Please refer to their privacy policy for details.
- Firebase: Used for authentication, data storage, and push notifications.
- YouTube: Trailers are loaded via YouTube's embedded player.
Your Rights
- Access and view all your stored data
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time

Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app (Profile > Settings > Delete Account) or by submitting a request through our account deletion page.
Children's Privacy
SwipeCine is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
